Sep. 21st, 2017 03:58 pm Got my latest order and I'm still gonna maintain that Cube has the best packaging ever. The Pentagon album, I was curious to see what they would do with it since they drifted from their solid color cases and put the members on it. It's roughly the same size with that rustic paper feel. The photobook is the typical Cube aesthetic with muted colors and a grungy feel. Idk if it's just my preference or what, but I love their packaging. I have more Cube albums than anything else lol.
The Japanese CBX album wasn't much more complicated than the Korean one. Whatever, I just got it so I'd have a Baek version. Got yet another Chen photocard. The Power of Music had no photobook at all, just a bunch of cards, like two for each member in the smaller size, then the combo cards. I got Sehun for the small photocard. I kinda loved the description of their powers Idk why. I was like, what is this fantasy novel realness. Also the comic hahah. That bit at the end "something has been wrong since the beginning" I was all, waaaaaaaaaaaaat. I'm not into their backstory or whatever, but still, that's a godtier writing prompt right there.
In terms of those albums though, I bought them for the CDs, contrary to all the weirdos out there who don't think anyone buys Kpop for the CDs. When we're talking such an amazing album as the War + 3, yes I want the whole CD so I can hear it in CD quality on my CD player tysvm. Same goes for the CBX stuff.
Still waiting for posters. Idk what the Pentagon ones are, but I can't wait to put up the POM monstrosity ahahah. It's so appealing.
