What are you watching/reading/listening to?
- Mostly watching Sword Snow StRIDE. I finally started it earlier this week and haven't been able to put it down. It's a different sort of wuxia than i'm used to and surprisingly funny. Lots of good female characters as well. No bromance to speak of, so that keeps the fujoshis away. Kek. I'm not listening to anything, i've been in a drought all week for music lol. Reading, i recently started the book 1 of the Lotus Palace by Jeannie Lin, and it's a library loan so I'm mostly reading that.
What did you recently finish?
- I finally finished the last book of the Daevabad Trilogy. Overall, I liked it, but there were a few issues. Sympathy for awful characters by other characters was one, and the lack of an official pairing btw the ML and FL was another. But it was an entertaining yarn and the writing was good. Another book I finished was a short novella thing called Capturing the Silken Thief by Jeannie Lin. It was aight, nothing special. But it did make me go look for more of her stuff. I also finished two movies since my last WMM in Pirates - The Last Royal Treasure and The Door INto Summer. Both were very good and kinda marked the end of my movie mood lol. I'll do that a lot if i watch a bad movie, i will need to watch more movies until i see a good one and then I'm satisfied lol. Since the last post i also finished these albums:

Akira Kosemura - Echoes, Grassland+, It's On Everything
Solar - Face
The Solutions - Time, The Solutions
Gestalt Girl - Amoeba, Nice to Meet You, Shiryokukensa
Chillhop Essentials Spring 2022
Of those, I especially liked the new GI-DLE album, the Solutions stuff, and Gestalt Girl.
What will you listen to/read/watch next?
- Ahh what indeed? I don't have anythhing I plan to start book-wise. I'm pretty focused on this Lin one. Also doubt I'll start anything new in the watch department, unless I decide to watch Animal World this weekend since i can't find Garden. As for listening...let me check Spotify's new releases lol. I see a new Suran EP that i will probably definitely check out. Not much else though. Mostly singles.
