it gets better
Oct. 1st, 2017 11:14 am As I've previously said, I find real person fanfic and shipping to be extremely stupid at best and at worst truly freaking delusional. I'm probably the most anti-that sort of thing you'll ever meet. BUT I do enjoy a good bromance, and whatever you call the female equivalent. Basically cute, close friendships. It's just very awwww. Not everything has to be about sex you bloody deviants. I'm bringing this up bc it's generally the last straw of me getting really into a group. For example, I highly enjoyed Hyde/Tetsu and Tatsu/Miya back in the day. The latter was kind of a hatemance, but that made it all the more amusing. Ofc I know that a lot of it, on stage especially is just fanservice, but sometimes I think it's obvious they're good friends too.
POINT IS, I suddenly love the heck out of Chen and Baekhyun's relationship lol. Chen just seems like such a nice, cheerful guy and Baek is so highstrung. They're just really effing cute together, moreso than anyone else in the group. Like at MAMA 2015 when Baek was obviously upset about not being able to acknowledge his gf bc they'd either forreal broken up, or, as most ppl seem to suspect, they had to do it publicly to appease dumbass fans. (later on I saw him with her and he was all happy again lol) But looook:

It's funny tho bc I just kinda noticed it on my who knows how many rewatch of that CBX pool game. Baek was being a dick the whole time, bragging about his skills, lecturing Xiumin, complaining about losing (eventually) and saying that Chen's only skill at pool was being lucky. At the end, he very deservedly gets hit in the head with the pool ball by Chen and immediately acts like he got shot or something, but Chen was actually apologizing and wanting to check his head. He didn't do that later when he hit Xiumin lol.
I suppose it helps that they're my favorite members and favorite voices. Before they became CBX though it seemed like they wanted to be a duo. Idk how Xiumin got tossed in. He kinda gets turned into a third wheel bc ChenBaek are capable of being so obnoxious together lol.
