 Reita, the bassist of Gazette died yesterday. I haven't followed Gazette in YEARS, the last album I listened to was in idk 2016 or something like that. But like for a lot of people who got into VK in the 00s, they were one of the first bands I listened to and i did have at least a short period where i really liked them ahahh. Always thought Reita was a good bassist too. My favorite album from them was and still is DIM, i'm kinda amazed it still sounds really good to me as i listen to it right now. I also checked out their two most recent albums in Mass and Ninth. Mass was actually really good, like no skips and several songs that stood out. Ninth was less compelling, but the last song, Unfinished was so throwbacky to like their Disorder/NIL sound i got all nostalgic hahah.

Anyway.

RIP Reita 1981 - 2024
