lol i'm mad

 One day ONE DAY into 2018 and Kpop toxic fan culture rears its ass.  So an EXO fan with depression tells Baekhyun about it at a fansign, he says some stuff to her, including that he doesn't understand depression, but a bunch of other stuff too.  She records it and posts it, intending for it to be positive, that he cheered her up.  And this is on both ifans and Korean fans here, bc Knetz attacked him too and a BTS ifan translated it out of context, which doesn't wholly matter, but it was clearly done with ill intent bc it was blowing up in Korea.  So then Baekhyun ends up apologizing on Insta and tbh, as bad as that is, I think it's even worse for that fan bc her nice experience was used to trash her fave.  I can't even imagine how bad she feels and no one seems to care about that as they pile on.  I mean, ffs, she said she had depression and you self-righteous idiots take her experience and attack her fave.  Yeah I'm sure she feel awesome about that.  Good job.

I've said it a million times, but I can't begin to cover how much I hate this attitude in Kpop fandom.  For the most part, I've only seen supportive comments from real EXO fans, bc I'm sorry, you're not a fan if you can't wait to crucify your "fave" for any errant step.  No one needs those kind of fans, or no one needs enemies when they have those kind of fans.

It's really rich too how they're using Jonghyun's death as ammo in their attacks. They literally have no shame.
