I don't like to buy singles anymore. And Hilcrhyme's singles are never on the web anymore for whatever reason. But last year I found Jigsaw Puzzle on YT and just converted them to MP3 and used MP3Gain on it if necessary. So I've been looking for NEW DAY, NEW WORLD, that is, the b-side. I found the a-side months ago when it came out, but eventually deleted it because I didn't like the quality. Today I do a search for it and I find the b-side on NicoNico. Amazingly also find a converter and the quality is pretty damn good. Also, awesome song amazingly, but I digress. So I'm like, ok, I have the single now. Lemme just go find the a-side real quick. :D

Wrong. All the PVs have since been removed and I can't find it anywhere. Ha hah. D: I finally downloaded the whole PV somewhere and converted that. Still crappy, but MP3Gain made it listenable. Ok, but here's the lesson on this. For record companies and retailers and whoever else. You think that if you ban downloading (i.e. no one uploaded this single in a CD rip), that people will buy your shit, but then you make it difficult for them. I.e. I can't just sashay over to Amazon Japan and buy the MP3s, nope nope nope, because apparently I have to live in JAPAN to do that. No, they want me to buy the whole hard copy and pay twice what it's worth in shipping just to get two songs.  Uh huh. :|

Ha hah? No.  Not funny, and  I didn't do that. I patiently waited for someone to put the thing up in streaming form and then snatched it. I can hear the song, it's good enough for me at the moment and it will probably be on the album whenever that comes out as well. At no point did I ever consider buying the hard copy. All you did, by not allowing evil foreigners to download and PAY for the music, was lose however much yen two songs are worth because I snatched it for free.  Good luck with that business model.

That's why I don't feel bad or particularly sorry for these companies mostly futilely trying to stop downloading.  Because they aren't making it easy for people to buy their shit.  No instead they're being really fucking stupid while whining that everyone's taking things for free.

Tl;dr - I would have bought this single if you had let me, but you didn't, so I didn't.
