I post-dated my entry on LJ friends moving over here, but I still maintain that I'm not moving my own blogging ooperation over here unless something legit happens to LJ.  So this will still be mainly extra overflow entertainment crap and rants that i don't feel like updating LJ with lol. I will check my reading page though as more people get here.

Anyway, so the iQIYI app has been stupid for me for days now. At first it wouldn't load at all, then it loads, but slowly and if i try to pick a drama, it boots me back to the Roku homepage. I was tryna either continue Moonlight or start a rewatch of Royal Secret Agent. Instead, I went back to Viki where I finished "finished" the Lost Tomb entry I was on, restarted King In Love, and started Welcome.  First, idc who apologizes for it, that entry in the Lost Tomb series is AWFUL. Writing was bad, pacing was bad, acting was bad, it was all BAD. I honestly liked the first two series but man, if this was anyone's first encounter with it, i can see why it gets a bad rap in netizen circles.

Oh that was another reason I was tryna get into iQIYI--to start Ultimate Note again. King In Love, I went through two eps right away, so i think there's only two left. I get that there's something between San and the CP but COME ON, Wang Rin is 1000x hotter. He makes the CP look short and ugly lmao. Plus, his nasty mom killed her dad, so why would she consider him since he basically defended his mom right up until he found out the truth. The truth that Wang Rin was already telling him. Pfft.  Idk why i stopped watching this, ig bc of my 2017 drama hiatus or whatever.

Next up, I randomly came upon an L drama where he plays a cat that can turn into a human. On MDL, the ratings are low, but those people have terrible taste. It's rated much higher on Viki. So far, it's quite cute, and very funny. L is way too perfect to play a human/cat lol. Another good choice would be Junho. Both of them are catmen and they have cat traits lol.  The drama is only 24 half hour eps or 12 traditional hour ten eps, so pretty short for a Kdrama I guess.

i DID indeed put SSS on hold to watch these other things lol, but I only have like 10 eps left so i'll be back.

IN music, confirmed that Show Luo and Koda Kumi are my consistent best and longest fandoms lol. I found Show's one Japanese album on my music drive that I never touch anymore and damn that shit was good. Sucks that it's not on Spotify though. Was also discovering some random new songs that were on Kuu's shitton of compilation albums. I've always ignored those, but since they're on Spotify, I can check them out finally.

Well yesterday I was tryna decide between rewatching Royal sEcret Agent which i've been wanting to do since i finished it tbh, or restarting King in Love. Since iQIYI wouldn't load, i was forced to do the latter. I'm always amazed at my ability for total recall for fiction lol. Took me the whole episode to start understanding what happened in the last 28 eps but I did. On Viki they're actually in the proper hour format, but it's fun, every time i watch one, I can give myself two on MDL. There are only five left so i think finishing it should be pretty easy. Rooting for Wang Rin. Can't stand Wang Won, he's a dick and his mom's an evil witch.

Anyway hahah. I was listening to Kuu's new album, and Bow Wow is definitely one of her best songs in awhile like i loved that shit from the opening beats. But i suddenly realized how long I've been a stan of her. Since 2006ish basically.  I used to watch Japanese music shows looking for my VK faves and I always liked her even though i was highkey anti-pop at the time. Then I listened to Black Cherry when it came out and that was it--STAN FOR LIFE lol. The reason it's interesting to me though is bc I've had so many "faves" that have come and gone since then. Some have faded hard, but I've stayed following her this whole time and her music now sounds just as fresh and awesome as it did to me 15 years ago or whatever it is.

As I was thinking about THAT, I also realized that Show Luo would be the other longest running fandom.  He's a little behind Kuu bc it took a few more years for me to be willing to give boypop a chance hahah. But same deal. I've never lost interest in him, even though he's had some fairly long music hiatuses, unlike Kuu. I give zero craps about his so called scandal and am super hoping that his recent single releases mean a new album is coming soon.

It's just weird bc i've had some intense fandoms over the years and most of them have faded totally. Like, the other stuff i was listening to in 2006-2007 when i discovered Kuu, I'm pretty sure i barely listen to any of it anymore. It was mostly VK. Hah what's ALSO funny is that Show kinda had a parallel career in Japan and him and Kuu collab'd a few times.  What are the odds.

In other things...GOT7 have pretty fun solos overall. I was gonna rank them and say Jackson, Bam, Yugyeom, but I like JB and Youngjae too lol. I don't like Mark and Jinyoung. It's a bit ironic since Mark was always my fave, but his solo stuff sucks.  I have the most plays of Jackson bc even though he's released some trash, he's just got those few songs that a really great and i repeat them a lot llol.
