My gosh I love Lookout, but what I do not love is how alksjdflajksldfj SLOW DramaFever is being at subbing it.  Like, is it just not popular or what?  If that's the case, then people have no taste damn.  The two new eps of Suspicious Partner were out right away yesterday, but the freaking newest Lookout ones that would have aired Tuesday, didn't come out until today.  Freaking annoying I tell you what.  I'm also completely amazed that ppl are just now picking up on who the leader of the little justice cabal is.  Like what? Jinjja?  I figured that out in the first three episodes.  Y'all even slower than the DF subbers lol.

Favorite characters are Kim Young Kwang, then Key, then the hacker girl and then the former detective.  The latter is actually rather annoying.  She's just too freaking emotional.  I kinda liked her at first, but it's gone down since then since she's displayed some dumbness, or a lot of dumbness.  I just can't like overly emotional characters that make a bunch of dumb decisions all the time.  She even lost her freaking gun at the very start of a fight.  Don't even carry one then damn.  Either way, I can't wait for that fat prosecutor and his kid-killing son to bite it.  Waiting for new eps of this show is actually so stressful.

Meanwhile, I'm four episodes from finishing I Hear Your Voice.  I was sugoi addicted to it until I got to episode 14 and then I started not wanting it to end ahahah.  All the twists have been great and actually, the love triangle was real.  MOst dramas make it extremely obvious who's gonna win out and this one wasn't.  Even though I was rooting for Suha, I had doubts more than once that she was ever going to see him.  They're dragging the last twist about Suha's dad and the evil truck driver out right to the final moments though, I can tell.

Suspicious Partner, Idk if that last ep was a false narrative or what, but now I'm so full of doubts on that guy they just released vs the creepy CSI guy.  I'm basically watching all law and order shows right now.  I guess it's easy to see where my preferences are lol.

I really did not mean to start another drama, and yet, at the same time, I felt like I needed something else since 3 out of my 5 dramas are airing and Wu Xin is not really bingeable and neither exactly is Sparrow, though I'll definitely be finishing that because it's honestly really great and Li Yi Feng is smooth.  SO, that said, I just had to start I Hear Your Voice with Lee Jong Suk.  Uggghhhhhh and it's so freaking cracktastic.  It's Healer-levels of cracktastic.  The entire concept is cute.  I love how LJS idolizes the girl and then sort of has his fantasies dashed, but then still kinda sticks with her.  There's also a lot of character growth from episode to episode and no one is exactly a saint or exactly a horrific villain, I say this as I suspect there's more to the evil truck driver's story too. (though whatever it is, it doesn't excuse him being an evil sonnofabitch)

Amg my heart though whenever the gal keeps going for Lawyer Cha and ignoring or treating Suha like a kid.  But then again, he's not doing very much to make moves on her either.  He keeps denying even that he likes her.  Cha annoys me and I fully ship her and Suha.  IN spite of her arrogance and various other faults, I actually like her/the actress.  It's pretty rare that I like the female leads, as in, actually like them and not just tolerate them.  Apparently I'm the complete opposite of everyone else in fandom as I only require the male lead to be cool and not a loser.  I will drop dramas for loser male leads, but Idrc about the female ones, unless they're good then that makes the drama better.

I suppose at least it's a fairly convincing love triangle or whatever.  Half the time in dramas, it's so freaking obvious where it's going.  At least in this one, it makes complete sense that she'd lean towards Cha and not "see" Suha at all due to him being in high school lol.  Still though, the way Omona gets their panties in a bunch over age gaps lmao.  It's srsly ridiculous.  There is NOTHING wrong with age gaps.  NOthing.  Unless we're talking about children, and 17-19 are not children, sorry.

Also, Lee Jong Suk, his smile, I've thought ever since W, has a kinda menacing tinge to it.  I see he's playing a villain in an upcoming movie and I'm kinda excite.

I really like them lol.  Their new mini is so good and their previous mini was also good.  Plus they're all attractive and their voices mesh surprisingly well compared to a lot of groups.  The main rapper has a nice low voice too.  I wouldn't say their music is amazingly original, but Hello Hello is a good start.  Idk, I'm pretty obsessed all of a sudden lol.

But mostly I'm here to bitch about dramas like usual.  So Master of the Mask is still really annoying.  The emotions in this show are SO freaking overwrought that they really have no effect anymore.  I just think this is the most heavy-handed saegeuk I've ever watched.  And L's character is so completely useless that it also bugs me.  AND I can't stand the super ~this is fate~ scenes between the CP and Sohyun's character.  At this point, the only reason I'm still watching is that I do kinda want to see how Dae Mok gets taken down.  But so many things annoy me about it right now.

Now for Lookout.  A discussion ~somewhere~ tells me that a lot of people watching this don't get at all where it's going and that has me lol'ing.  Tbf, there are a lot of confusing elements about it, but I feel like I've sussed most of them out.  The cliffhanger at the end of ep.4 was straight rude though.

Suspicious Partner is still really good, though I was rme big time at the rain scene in one of the latest episodes.  It's just like, is that realistic?  No, no it's not, stop.  I'm amused that certain people are having such strong negative reactions to it though.  Like, it's a bit weird compared to similar dramas I suppose.  Who expects a romcom to be paired with  a particularly nasty serial murderer, but still.  His latest hit though, like what was that Bible verse all about?  I definitely want to know what's up with this dude.  JCW is still great and so his is friend, though I've been thinking lately that he has a sort of creepy vibe and I heard he plays a bad guy in one of his previous roles so I might have to check that out.

Lol apparently that drama is the Missing 9 and people really hated it?  Idk, I've found some great stuff based on the rest of the fandom's hate so maybe I'll try it. |D

Ah sou...yet another new airing drama I picked up in Lookout.  The opening was BAD ASS.  I was immediately hooked.  Plus the OST was FIRE.  After the opening, they went on to provide some backstory, which took me a sec to pick up on.  But I'm so into Kim Young Kwang, whom I last saw in Stranger In My House, which was not all that great lol, but he was good, but he's REALLY good so far in his.  Not super feeling the female lead (lol typical me), but Key is cool and the girl hacker seems interesting.  Either way, the way these first four episodes went, I'm already totally tortured by the wait for the new ones next week.  Worse too bc DF is only uploading them on Tuesday and Wednesday instead of Monday and Tuesday as they were supposed to be originally.

The new Suspicious Partner eps also came out today, which I immediately watched bc, as I said previously, I'm not feeling RMOM just yet.  It went bonkers last week and I still lowkey feel like they're maybe making it up as they go along lol Idek.  It will probably pick up, but I honestly love Ji Changwook so.  Oh and also, the friend did turn out to be the guy that cuck'd him, which I literally knew from DAY ONE, but it apparently surprised people lol.

I was kinda lol'ing the other night when one of my friends was all, Idg drama obsession, just randomly on Twitter and I saw it belatedly and was like...uh why is anyone obsessed with anything?  Tbh, I used to watch the heck out of TV shows when I was a kid, but American TV shows were so unfulfilling compared to Asian ones honestly lol.  Actually, I also used to be obsessed with movies and anime, but for some reason, dramas are just more appealing than either and it's been that way for at least the last 7 years, with maybe one year of random anime obsession thrown in.

There were some great nugu releases yesterday, I think.  B.I.G and MAP6.  The B.I.G album especially was sooooo good.  I watched both performance vids too and I preferred B.I.G, but MAP6 was still good, just not AS good lol.

Finally watched the last episode of Tunnel and ok, so it was a pretty fun ride, but honestly, it really was't THAT amazing.  Not like certain tools on MDL think anyway lol.  First of all, the ending.  They never show whether he catches the killer in the past and it's like...how is everything going to turn out the same?  I mean, presumably it would turn out better because the girl wouldn't end up being adopted and all that and she grows up knowing Sunjae, but on the other hand, how likely is she to get interested in....ok, nevermind I solved my own conundrum.  It's easy enough to assume that the killer gets caught back then and then nothing else really matters.  The future events won't happen and only Kwang Ho will remember that they happened at all.

I GUESS that's fine lol, but Idk, I can't help thinking it would have been better if he'd stayed in the future, present, whatever.  Time travel is so confusing lmao.  But see that's the thing, it honestly didn't factor a whole lot into the plot and that's why it's just a pretty good crime drama with a fantasy twist that allowed for those a-ha moments throughout.  Idk, I rated it good, but there were a lot of things that annoyed me about it ultimately.  I really liked the lead actors though, they were both really good and "bromantic" without being ridiculous.

Anyway, on to Lookout.  Or at least, I will be on to Lookout just as soon as DF puts out the new eps.  They really dropped the ball on bothering to sub Tunnel there at the end.  I watched like the last four episodes on Viki.

I've said before that I honestly don't give a crap about Kpop or Jrock or any other Asian groups getting awards here because I don't care about the American music industry and therefore I don't care about its awards either.  But I was completely unsurprised to see BTS get dragged by American music fans for winning whatever it is they won.  That same thing happened when Psy was at some award show.  People were all, who are these fucking Asians?  Isn't that the most interesting part of it though?  The vitriol is really aimed at Asians specifically.  Because I remember European artists, even ones who could barely speak English being at these shows (back when I gave a crap) and no one gave them shit.  Even Latin artists, same thing.  But Asians, OMG THIS CAN'T HAPPEN.

I see you America.
