How did I actually go an entire month without posting here?  Lmao.  Countdown's even out, long out and everything.  There's not much new in fandom tbh.  There was this joke going around different Kpop fandoms about not liking Kpop only x-group pop, because of the dumb BTS fandom saying that and adding that other groups were getting a free ride from BTS's popularity lmao yeah uh huh.  I don't even like old Kpop, but your group wouldn't be around period if it weren't for those groups putting it on people's radar in the first place.

On the other hand, I've seriously become far less interested in every other Kpop fandom save EXO so other than the general stupidity of the whole comment, I'm not entirely lying.  I lie a little bit, because I'm still very interested in Pentagon at least, but most other groups?  I can't say I would get all that excited for comeback news at this point.

Oh I know the thing really annoying me lately. The freaking fact that both Pentagon and Junho have released Japanese albums and they're impossible to get. Especially Pentagon's.  Like, it's literally NOWHERE and yet it apparently did fairly well on the charts????  Wtf Japan.  Meanwhile, Countdown was out everywhere at like midnight lol.

I also love very much that EXO is one of only TWO artists performing at the closing ceremony of the Olympics and that second artist is NOT BTS. HAH.  And Baekhyun sang the national anthem and sounded effing amazing.  Imagine another group's weak-ass singers doing that lmao.  Embaaaarassing.

Sorry I hate their fandom so much that it really has transferred to the group now.  Not them personally ofc, but in a dismissive way.  I lowkey revel in anything that upsets their fandom basically.  I still love Suga though. :x

Outside of Kpop, I found out two of my favorite rappers released albums last year after having disappeared forEVER. Fana and Ignito.  Both were good, but Fana's was the best.

 I knew there was something coming yesterday, but I didn't really expect it to be the short version Electric Kiss MV.  I also didn't fucking expect it to be so freaking good omg.  I haven't been able to play anything else since it came out.  And as it's less than 3 minutes long, I've already racked up way too many plays.   Istg I'm gonna have over 100 plays before the longer version even comes out.  I can't believe they're gonna drop a Japanese album that's already this epic lmao.

What's funny though, is all the...hmmm stupid from other fandoms since it came out.  First was someone for who knows what reason posted the MV in ONTD and someone's dumb comment was, their Japanese sounds horrible but I don't speak it so.  Lol THEN HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY JUDGE BITCH.  Tbh, I think it's better than most Japanese you hear in KPop releases, but I also think it's improved since their previous releases and obviously CBX had some extra practice earlier in the year.  Either way, as a person with a long history of listening to Japanese music, I have ALWAYS been extremely lukewarm to straight cold on Kpop in Japan.  EXO has completely broken through that wall lol.  I see their Japanese stuff to be on the same level and I love that they aren't half-assing this shit, they're not rehashing the War or anything else.  These were all songs made for the Japanese market and they WORK, for lack of a better word.

Even with my other favorites, GOT7 and Pentagon.  Got7's Japanese stuff is aaaaawful and Pentagon had one banger in Get Down, but the rest of the mini was rehashes and a boring ballad.  They're releasing another one I guess, but they need to do better.

I've exhausted all my splooge on the actual MV elsewhere, but suffice to say they were all hot af and Baekhyun especially bc well he's my bias and basically he just has to breathe and he's sexy so.  Also notably hot was Chen, but he's my solid second so like that's not even surprising either lol I'll stop now.

I saw a few other threads where they were afraid that EXO was gonna take over BTS on the charts or something and lol yeah they probably will bc kings.  And they were apparently the best selling Kpop group in Japan this year anyway and they're coming for 2018!

So all the Elyxion stuff is everywhere and I haven't watched any fancams yet, but amg I want to see these new songs.  Baek looks absolutely amazing with the silver hair, but that's no surprise.  I say this but I was still stunned lol.  Either way it confirmed that I'm definitely BBH trash.  That was 90% of my reblogs on Tumblr.  Like, Chen, Xiumin, rest of EXO, I love you, but I'm BBH trash sorry.

Highlights from all the pictures I've seen, whatever that bar scene is where they're all in the suits, and those EXO mic stands are the actual coolest.  The Diamond choreo looks interesting.  Sehun went completely shirtless and oh I didn't realize he was so ripped, well then.  Xiumin apologized for shaving his hair and I was like boy, that was hot, Knetz have no taste.  Whatever was between Chen and Suho and Suho sucks at fan service bc he can't keep a straight face.  That pic with Chanyeol and Xiumin was cute af bc Xiumin looked so tiny.


All the Countdown teasers are out and Idk if I ever heard for sure that Lay wasn't gonna be involved, but clearly he's not as the next teaser is now on December 1st, so presumably that was it for the member teasers.  I'm anxious for preorder to be available though.  They also confirmed a winter album for mid-month so you'd think that would be announced shortly too.  Will Lay be in that?  Let the guessing games begin.

Randomly I read this Pann translation thing about an anonymous Knet who was the younger sister of some current idol and basically talking about how uncomfortable shipping makes them, you know the explicit fanfics and fans grossly mentioning these things to idols.  And she pretty much confirmed that "big ships" eventually make those members uncomfortable around each other in public. Like, Mark and Jackson for a super obvious recent example.  Another Knetz talked about the ppl always saying that shit on YT videos.  Which omg I've seen so much.  Frankly, I'mma start mocking them the next time I see it.  Like, fanfiction is one thing ok, it should be private.  Don't go around being a delusional dumbass in public.

I was just recently watching one of the radio shows with Yoo Inna, who is freaking gorgeous anyway, but he was so obviously flirting with her the entire time, to the point where he was even annoyed with Chen for kind of mocking him at one point. To be fair, I think she was doing the same, just less obviously than him lmao.

Pretty sure Lay and Chanyeol fit the same mode, I just think Baek is a lot more overt about it based on what I've seen. It's not surprising at all that he was caught first.

That reminds me, my favorite thing about that "scandal" was when SM had to confirm it bc Dispatch had more than just the kissing in the car. I have forever wanted to know WHAT ELSE lol. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

 Looool I came across the clip from Scarlet Heart where Baek's prince character and his wife kiss.  I remembered finding that scene very amusing when I was watching it, but I never actually quite noticed the looks Baek gives her, not once, but TWICE.  The girl asks him if she's pregnant after she kisses him and that look he gives her is like, hahah not yet lol.  Then the SECOND time she asks before they go inside, it's even more obvious in his eyes/expression.  What's funny to me is that this was probably his best-acted scene in the whole show, bc most of the time he was just being goofy, i.e. basically himself.  So that tells me that he's very experienced in giving out that "look" lmao.

RIP to him being OMona's most-hated EXO member though.  I think the Kai stans basically changed that all by themselves with that last post lol.  Tbh, they definitely helped fuel my dislike of EXO initially though.  It just seemed like they were all constantly being douches, but honestly, when I actually looked through old posts to find out why, I found nothing gripping at all.  So they have some weird joke with Kai's skin tone, that's kind of their business and you really can't judge as an outside whether it's funny to Kai or not.  You can't be all, well he looked uncomfortable.  Like, I don't personally understand Korea's obsession with skintone.  I was looking at some beauty products on this one site and like half of them were for whitening or brightening skin lmao.  But you know what?  It's really not my business.  I'm not going to police their culture.

The only other things were easily debunked and the white power t-shirt lool, which I freaking seriously doubt Baekhyun is a white supremacist dudes so I wouldn't worry about a dumb shirt.  Supposedly people were also mad at him and that girl he was dating (and probably still is) for using their instas and group names or whatever to flirt with each other.  Personally I find that hilarious.  I like idol guys who give no fucks.

I've also now heard him singing live offstage and whatnot and he's definitely good.  I finally also saw a CBX perf where they were live.  I heard a lot of differences in their lines, plus extra breathing in lines during dance parts, but overall they were actually really good.  I didn't hear any flubs, though Baek was slacking in his dancing lol.  I think I already said, but I honestly am more into CBX than EXO, even though the latter are getting all the plays just by default.  I would be way more excited about a new CBX announcement though let me tell you.

I loved hearing that he would have been a vocal coach if he hadn't become an idol and I'm like yessss.  Sign me up lol.

 I keep seeing stuff saying that the King Loves isn't meeting ratings and expectations and all that and honestly, I'm not surprised.  It's convoluted and annoying.  Meanwhile, I've been putting off watching the last episode of Bride for who knows what reason.  I do this with dramas I like Idek lol.  I'll still probably finish the King Loves...probably.  I think I'm more than halfway through, but still, it could get worse lol.

Finally was able to get to a screen on One Hallyu to send my validation email.  Istg I've been trying to get into that comm for months now.  It's the only ifan hangout that has fairly sharp people who don't subscribe to the SJW hypocrisy.  I'm constantly amazed, though I shouldn't be, how freaking arrogant these people are.  With the Wanna One guy thing, they're now basically saying that Westerners and English takes priority over Korean.  Like, Koreans can't use their language in a certain way bc it triggers Westerners.  Like...what is this actual Western-centric arrogant hypocrisy here?    They're basically saying that Kpop idols should learn Western culture and proper English before being allowed to debut.  Honestly, fuck ifans.  Most of them don't even buy stuff so they're a small slice of Kpoppers incomes anyway.  They get way more from Asian countries outside of Korea vs Westerners.  But isn't it just typical that these people would do the absolute least but demand to be completely catered to?  

It's no wonder people stereotype "stupid Americans" around the world.  Acting like they and English are the top priority compared to anyone else.

Other fun things I found on ONeHallyu, apparently as a trainee Mark got in some argument with Hui that somehow also involved BAP's Youngjae and a Day6 guy translating lmao.  How the heck Mark.  Hui seems so easygoing too like hoooww lol.

I finally got into watching some Exo non-music stuff...well CBX anyway lol.  A few interviews basically.  I love the radio shows anyway bc the hosts are always so funny.  Them trying to explain the "hey mama" thing was amusing.  They oddly didn't seem to know?  It's basically old American slang and someone involved in the concept clearly knew bc the MV was all retro.  I also realized that Baekhyun doesn't have his ears pierced.  I find that super attractive just bc it stands out since most Kpop guys do have their ears pierced.  

Baekhyun is just such a music nerd lol.  And he has the sliest smile.  That tells me everything I need to know about him tbh.
