Lol, the most retarded download site on the internet has to be Hulkpop.  It reminds me of the super secret rarez clubs for VK back in the day.  They make you jump through all these fucking hoops to get stuff that is, in most cases, already all over the net.  They have their site all dysfunctional, so you can't right-click, or copy-paste and they try to stop your anti-adblock service by presumably paying for an ANTI-anti-adblock service.  Which makes no sense to me bc I just use Tampermonkey for free to get around it lmao.  Now they have some kind of login/pay service for what they think is rarez, but it's usually findable elsewhere if you take some time to search, and if it's K-indie or rap, is more than likely on SPotify anyway.  Then, today, I was snatching the South Club EP and they blocked one of the songs from download like what?  It's not like I can't go somewhere else and get the whole thing.  Idk who runs that place, but they're a bunch of dumb pricks.

In other Kpop news lol.  Wow Lu Han has a new single.  Ok that's not Kpop, but whatever.  I watched Taemin and Junho's new songs last night, also not Kpop, but rather Jpop.  Ahahah, the vids for both were extra af.  I like Taemin's song I think, but I'm not sure about Junho's lol.  LIstening to Nam Taehyun's thing.  HIs voice is so good, seriously, he has a lot of talent.  Too bad he's such a silly emo hipster lmao.  Tbh though, most of the songs on this thing sound about the same, they're really not new or different.  The highlight is 90% his singing.  He tries just about every style and shows off his range besides.

Haven't heard much else about Hyunseung's comeback, though apparently he had an Insta live that I missed bc I don't pay much attention to that lol, but he has black hair whoa.  Feel like he's been blond forever.  Even though I think he works it, black hair is always more attractive to me.  From what I've read though, it's sounding increasingly like it's an album.

What else?  GOT7 is doing the solo thang apparently.  So that probably means they won't comeback as a group until fall.  I'm more interested in Jackson solo since it's gonna be in Chinese than I am about JJ Project or whatever.  I wonder what the rest of the group will be doing lol.  Just randomly saw that Boys Republic is releasing a Japanese album at the end of August.  Le sigh, I guess they just kinda gave up on Korea?  I mean, their Japanese songs have actually been good, but still.

That is, I gave Lu Han a second chance not to suck by watching The Witness.  He did alright.  Better than Time Raiders, which may have been less him and more that it was an atrocious piece of trash.  As for the movie itself, it was fairly suspenseful, and nothing was egregiously wrong with it.  But there were enough little things wrong with it that I wouldn't exactly recommend it.  LIke, the pretense for the serial killer was...just ok.  So he's mad at his sister for using a dating app and accidentally kills her.  Then he starts punishing other dating app girls by capturing them and doing plastic surgery on them to make them look like his sister.  But he becomes very obsessed with Yang Mi's character who was in an accident three years prior that killed her brother.  And that accident itself was ridiculous.  Yeah, she shouldn't have arrested her not!brother or whatever, but it was his dumbass stepping on the accelerator that got them into the accident.

So it all starts when she takes a taxi ride from someone else and hears the taxi driver hit someone.  She becomes the Witness and then Lu Han's character is apparently there too somewhere and he shows up later.  LIke I said, there's a few intense chase scenes and the thing in the house at the end, but otherwise it's a pretty thin plot that was a bit too stretched.

Ugh but that bastard Lu Han singing in the movie and such.  SO annoying.  As if I'm not already stupidly addicted to his voice lol.

It's funny though, he's obviously 27 and it just seems to depend what he's in or whatever, but sometimes he looks just fine, like a guy and everything, but in that new wuxia, he seriously looks like a girl.  It sort of reminds me of Hyde when he was younger.  Plus he obviously has a nice, lower range in his voice, which he actually gets to use since he does Cpop now lol.  But yeah,  Idk, something about his attitude, looks, etc., I bet he gets a lot of chicks who "wanna ride" if you know what I mean lmao.

Found Lu Han's new single on SPotify last night, but even better was seeing that they finally changed his name to Chinese.  Now I can listen freely without doing a private session and then Uniscrobbling them later lol.  He's gotta be so smug, getting out of that SM crapfest and he's a really good singer too, even if some of his songs are a bit...strange lol.

I was lurking some forum awhile back and people were discussing something about Kpop and I did see a few people bring up that it's a fairly widely held opinion that KPop changed after 2008 to become less cheesy and generic, which I heartily agree with because I highkey hated what I heard back then and didn't understand at all why so many of my friends were into it.  Of course, I'd push 2008 forward to like 2010 and maybe even closer to 2012.  HOnestly, there's very little pre-2012 that I like, much less before 2010.  There are some groups I like that started around 2010, but for example, Teen Top, their first few releases were pretty bad.  Same with 2PM and I don't go all the way back with SHINee either.  My friends were not good at rec'ing me stuff from the earlier times and thus I really didn't start paying any attention until 2012.  I've thought about it though, and if someone wanted to rec me something back in 2010, the group should have been Infinite.  I would have fallen right then and there, I guarantee it.

You thought I was gonna start gushing about The Chaser right? Ahahah, no, Bad is my favorite song from them.  They have so many good songs in general though.  STICKY songs too.  There's nothing I hate from them.

Btw...since I keep posting, for anyone lurking, I have no friending or commenting policy lol.  Feel free to do either whenever.  I know a lot of people have locked journals on here, but I don't honestly care.  Just writing down my thoughts on things, that's all.

Well I watched Time Raiders last night and it's rare for me to totally trash a movie, especially if it's not an American movie, but I'mma bout to do that right now bc it was AWFUL.  It's basically the same story as from the drama Lost Tomb with Yang Yang and another guy who can currently act circles around Lu Han.  The plot though, and getting to where they got, was incomprehensible at best.  They explained next to nothing about anything.  The only reason I half-knew what was going on is because I'd already seen the previous Lost Tomb, plus the Mystic Nine so I know all about this tomb raiding thing lol.  Ok so the plot was bad.  Then you have all the fucking Engrish spoken with all the wrong emphasis like they were reading off a sheet.  Not just a few lines for laughs either, it was ALL THROUGHOUT.  Ugh.  Random compliment though lol, Jing Boran's English was actually passable.

Then we have Jing Boran in Yang Yang's role and he was so bad lmao.  He looked as though he was sucking on the most sour candy in the world the entire time and the majority of his acting was a lot of grunting.  See Yang Yang's character was as calm as death with zero emotion most of the time, you could easily feel his "other" status.  The rest of the acting was just as bad, Lu Han looked 12 for the majority of the movie until the end when he had some fuzz and that was pretty hot lol.  But what was his obsession with taking pictures?  The bromance was also terrible, again, it was way better in the Lost Tomb when both characters get the chance to save the other.

I saw people ranking on the CGI, but honestly I don't give two craps about CGI.  If it's good, I'll recognize it, if it's bad and the rest of the movie is good, I might mention it as being funny, but the movie itself is far more important to me than stupid CGI.  It wasn't that bad and it was definitely far less offensive than the rest of the movie, that's for sure.

Finally, they just had to included those nasty bugs from the Lost Tomb lmao, except they were way less creepy and for some unknown reason, Lu Han's character could tame them with a flute.  Him and flutes, lol.

Tl;dr I'd rather plop down and watch the 20 or whatever hours that comprised the Lost Tomb again than get anywhere near that movie.
